Linden Hills Project
This remodel project in the Linden Hills neighborhood of Minneapolis presented unique challenges to us at Kuechle Construction. It was a complete ground up restoration, converting the 1 ½ story 2 bedroom 1 bath cute craftsman style home to a luxurious full 2 story 4 bedroom 4 bath home. Because of its age (built in 1936) it wasn’t quite up to the structural demands of the extra square footage, as we were over doubling it. We fixed this by installing a new foundation throughout the entire house, updated all of the exterior framing around the windows and created a remodel project that really shines in the neighborhood. And even though we completely changed every aspect of this house, we were able to keep that south Minneapolis charm. Staying true to the period of the neighborhood from custom fireplaces to hand selected oak trim.
Tangletown Project Minneapolis
This home in the Tangletown area of South Minneapolis became a stand out in the neighborhood. From a small one and a half story to a full 2 story with 9 foot ceilings and enough room in the attic for storage and contained HVAC this home is truly stunning. From its detailed soffits, to beautiful cabinetry and hardwood floors the project is a shining example of our dedication to perfection. Open spaces and a warm and welcoming flow make it great for kids as well as entertaining. From the master suite to the basement playroom no detail was overlooked. It went so well we were graciously invited back to finish the homeowners vision with a new 2 stall garage with a Playhouse and attic storage above.
Hamline Project St.Paul
This was a fun project to work on. The client was looking to find new value in their home. They wanted to remodel as well as add a 14X20 addition off the back of the house. They chose Kuechle Construction to help them obtain their goals. Kuechle Construction was contracted to complete the exterior structure, as well as rough in the interior remodeling including: electrical, plumbing, Sheetrock and taping as well as various trim areas. They chose James Hardie Lap Siding, GAF Timberline shingles, and Marvin Windows. We also were able to re-use the windows on the second level. This was accomplished by building custom frames for the replacement windows they had purchased and installed a number of years earlier. It turned out fantastic and we were happy to help them create beautiful project.
Roseville Custom Home
This custom home can only be described as elegant. From the Brazilian Cherry hardwood floors and custom Brazilian Cherry cabinets, to the sauna in the basement this home has everything. A fabulous 5 bedroom 3 bath includes a music room, two fireplaces and a billiards room. With dynamic views this home is perfect for relaxing as well as entertaining a crowd. Space was utilized efficiently with attic storage above the3 stall garage and a woodworkers shop below. The gym in the basement truly bring its utility to higher level. It also sets the bar for energy efficiency, and is ranked #1 in the area due to high quality foam insulation, windows, and HVAC including a Boiler heating the lower level through in concrete radiant heat. We believe this is one of the finest homes in the twin cities area, and the homeowners agree.
